In the late summer of 2018, the community of Senoia, Georgia, was struck by the tragic death of 24-year-old Reginald Lewis Beasley. A man known for his creative spirit and resilience, his life was cut short on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. His passing left a void in the hearts of his family and friends, a story marked by both personal triumphs and a private battle that ultimately came to a sorrowful end.
Reginald, a graduate of Greenville High School's class of 2012, was a vibrant member
of his school community, particularly remembered for his talent as a band member. His high school years, however, were also marked by a significant personal challenge. In May of 2012, just before his graduation, he was diagnosed with Leukemia. Despite this formidable health struggle, he faced life with a determined spirit, channeling his energy into a passion for photography. This passion blossomed into a professional endeavor in 2018 when he became the proud owner and operator of Beasley Touch Photography.
The circumstances of his death were both sudden and tragic. Reports indicate that on that August day, Reginald was involved in a car crash. Following the accident, he died by suicide from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. There were no suspects or arrests in connection with his death. His passing was a profound loss for those who knew him. He was a loving fiancé and a father to three children. His life, though brief, was a testament to his strength in the face of adversity and his dedication to his artistic pursuits and his family.
