In the late winter of 2019, a tragic and violent series of events unfolded, culminating in the death of 22-year-old Quaniqwa Lee in Pooler, Georgia. Her life was cut short in a targeted shooting that took place in the parking lot of a Sam's Club on February 23, 2019. Lee was shot twice in the head while sitting in a car and succumbed to her injuries the following day, on February 24, 2019, at a local hospital, surrounded by her family.
