Gene Watson Griffin, a 74-year-old white male, passed away on August 23, 2020, in Nashville, Georgia. Gene Griffin was found deceased inside his residence at approximately 2:16 p.m. on the day of his death. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at 198 Launie Swain Road. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Gene Griffin's body, along with his wife, Laquietta Griffin, and his brother-in-law, Ray Webster Walker, present at the scene.
