On a tragic day in Thomaston, Georgia, the life of 32-year-old Rosanna Denise Smith was cut short. On May 23, 2021, a welfare check requested at her residence on Thurston Avenue led to a grim discovery. When Thomaston Police officers arrived, they were met with information that someone inside may have been shot. Forcing their way into the home, they found Ms. Smith, a Black female, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
