In a northeast Atlanta neighborhood, a verbal dispute tragically escalated into fatal violence on a summer evening. The argument, which broke out between two men, shattered the peace at 421 Boulevard NE and left one man dead. Thirty-seven-year-old Rasttish Fallen was shot and killed during the altercation, his life brought to an abrupt and violent end.
Witnesses at the scene recounted that an argument preceded the deadly gunshots.
In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, Atlanta police identified 52-year-old Eddie Jackson as the suspected shooter. In a surprising turn, Jackson surrendered to law enforcement on the very same day as the incident.
