Jaylon Alexander Eberhardt, a 19-year-old African American male from Fort Oglethorpe, GA, was tragically shot to death on September 23, 2021. The incident occurred outside the Oglethorpe Ridge Apartments, where Eberhardt was ambushed and fatally wounded. The investigation revealed that Eberhardt had been lured to the location under false pretenses by Deonna Ragland, a 16-year-old female at the time, who used Snapchat to communicate with him.
