Samuel Sanders, a 71-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on March 28, 2022, in Commerce, Georgia. The incident occurred during a work trip, where Sanders was traveling with two colleagues from Philadelphia. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office reported that Sanders was found unresponsive in a truck parked in an emergency lane on Interstate 85 around 3:10 AM.
