On a Sunday morning in the spring of 2013, violence shattered the quiet of a Northeast Baltimore neighborhood. In the Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello area, on the 1600 block of E. 29th St., 28-year-old Dwight Cook was shot at approximately 6:45 a.m. The early morning attack left him with at least one gunshot wound.
