The incident occurred at the Premier Apartments on Westwood Place, a location where Wolfe did not reside, adding a layer of mystery to the circumstances of her death.
The attack was brutal and swift. According to authorities, Lena Wolfe was shot in the head. Also killed in the shooting was 27-year-old Jeremy Davis. A third victim, Yolanda Spiller, was shot in the face but survived to provide a description of the assailant to the police. This crucial information led investigators to their suspect. The senseless violence left Wolfe's three young children, the youngest of whom was only five months old at the time, without their mother. Her fiancé, Wendell Evans, expressed his profound grief and the daunting task of explaining her absence to their children.
