In the quiet, rural setting of Buena Vista, Georgia, a concerned citizen's 911 call in the early morning hours of July 18, 2022, shattered the peace and led to the discovery of a grim scene. Schley County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a shooting at a residence on Ira Kelly Road. Upon arrival, they encountered Jamie Leon Harris, a 37-year-old man who also resided at the home, and took him into custody at the scene.
