William B. Burnham, a 32-year-old police officer from Pensacola, Florida, tragically lost his life on March 18, 1906. Officer Burnham was responding to a call about shots being fired near the southeast corner of Wright and Tarragona Streets, close to the Union Depot and a saloon owned by W. S. Norman.
