Valerie Hunt, a 22-year-old Caucasian female from Tallahassee, Florida, was reported missing in June 1984. Valerie was a student at Tallahassee Community College and was last seen at a local shopping center. Her disappearance remained a mystery for several months until her skeletal remains were discovered in a sinkhole in Wakulla County, south of Tallahassee, three months later. The discovery of her remains marked the beginning of a prolonged investigation into her untimely death.
