Kenneth Stanley Baldwin, a 42-year-old officer with the Okaloosa County Airports Police Department, tragically lost his life on September 11, 1987. Officer Baldwin was on duty, patrolling the Okaloosa Air Terminal, when he was fatally shot. His body was discovered by a newspaper deliveryman in the roadway in front of the terminal between 1:50 am and 2:33 am. Baldwin had sustained four gunshot wounds to the chest.
