Charles Richard "Dick" Humphreys, a 56-year-old white male, was found dead on September 12, 1990, in Marion County, Florida. Humphreys, a retired Air Force major, former police chief, and Florida state child abuse investigator, was discovered fully clothed with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso. His car was later found abandoned in Suwannee County.
