Konstantinos "Gus" Boulis, a 51-year-old Greek businessman, was murdered on February 6, 2001, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Boulis, known for founding the Miami Subs fast-food chain and SunCruz Casinos, was shot multiple times while driving his car after leaving a meeting at his office. The murder was believed to be connected to the sale of his company, SunCruz Casinos, which had been embroiled in legal and financial disputes.
