Jose Lazaro Somohano, a 37-year-old police officer with the Miami-Dade Police Department, tragically lost his life on September 13, 2007, in Naranja, Florida. Officer Somohano and his partner were conducting surveillance related to a burglary when they observed a vehicle being driven erratically.
