On August 17, 2008, Mohammad Uddin, a 44-year-old convenience store owner in St. Petersburg, Florida, was tragically killed during a robbery at his store, the Central Food Mart. The incident occurred when two men, Spencer Peeples and Khadafy Mullens, entered the store with the intent to rob it. Peeples brandished a gun and demanded money from the cash register.
