Deputy First Class Brandon Lee Coates, aged 27, tragically lost his life on December 8, 2010, while performing his duties as a law enforcement officer in Orange County, Florida. Coates, a dedicated member of the Orange County Sheriff's Office, was conducting a traffic stop near the intersection of South Nashville Avenue and 45th Street when he was fatally shot.
