Kijuan Byrd, a 29-year-old man from Miami, Florida, tragically lost his life on June 1, 2012. Byrd was shot and killed while sitting in a pickup truck outside Club Lexx, a strip club in Miami. The incident also left his friend, Michael Smathers, critically injured and paralyzed. The shooter, Lukace Kendle, was an armed security guard at the club.
