Latalia Robinson, a 32-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on December 29, 2013, in Dunnellon, Florida. She was found dead alongside her estranged husband, Dean Hamilton, 33, in what authorities described as a domestic violence incident. Both individuals suffered fatal gunshot wounds. The Marion County Sheriff's Office initially investigated the deaths as a potential murder-suicide, given the circumstances surrounding the case.
