Alliyah Rivera, an 18-year-old Hispanic woman, was tragically shot and killed on January 1, 2014, at the Las Palmas Apartments in Orlando, Florida. The incident occurred in the evening, and the apartment complex, located behind the Florida Mall, was shut down for several hours as authorities searched for the shooter.
