Christopher Jesus Corey, a 25-year-old man and former United States Marine, was killed during the early morning hours of January 20, 2014, inside his duplex at 5362 Holland Street in East Naples, Florida. Collier County sheriff's deputies were called to the residence at about 3:30 a.m. and found Corey face down in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
