Damarco Powell, a 17-year-old African American male from Lakeland, Florida, tragically lost his life on February 22, 2014. His body was discovered in a wooded area along Atline Road in Lakeland, with a fatal gunshot wound to the back of his head. The investigation revealed that Powell's death was a result of gang-related violence.
