Hakeem Alagawan Cook, a 22-year-old resident of Plant City, Florida, tragically lost his life on April 24, 2014. The incident occurred following an altercation at a convenience store located at 516 South Maryland Avenue. On the afternoon of April 23, 2014, Cook was involved in a heated argument with Master Brown, 21, which escalated into violence. Witnesses reported that Brown shot Cook during the confrontation. Cook succumbed to his injuries shortly after the incident.
