Edwin Anthony Mercado, a security guard, tragically lost his life on May 9, 2014, in Winter Garden, Florida. The incident occurred at the Las Princesas nightclub on West Colonial Drive. Mercado was shot in the chest late that Friday night by another security guard, Miguel Angel Santos-Rivera.
