On the evening of January 30, 2014, Allan Foster, a 56-year-old retired man, was with his wife, Marsha, at a local store in Baltimore, Maryland, where they had gone to play keno. After returning home, a seemingly routine request from Marsha's son would tragically alter the course of the night and end a life dedicated to community and family. The request was simple enough: to help start a car.
