Martavious E. Brown, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on August 4, 2014, in Mangonia Park, Florida. The incident occurred at the Hampton Court Apartments on Australian Avenue, where Brown and two other teenagers, 19-year-old Carley Chapman and 17-year-old Se'sawn Danford, were found shot. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots just after 10 a.m., and when Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies arrived, they discovered Brown and Chapman dead at the scene. Danford, also ...
