David Andre Scott, a 28-year-old resident of Jacksonville, Florida, tragically lost his life on December 27, 2014. Scott, also known as "DJ," was remembered for his vibrant personality and his love for drawing and computers. His untimely death was the result of a police-involved shooting during a standoff with law enforcement officers. The incident occurred when detectives attempted to arrest Scott, who was a suspect in the murder of his friend, Laroy Bryant Tucker, during a card game.
