Tommie Billy King, a 52-year-old mechanic from Dania Beach, Florida, tragically lost his life on January 2, 2015. The incident occurred following a heated argument over King's desire to purchase crack cocaine. According to reports, the altercation escalated into a physical confrontation, during which King was shot in the face by his frequent companion, Andrea Allen. The shooting took place outside King's apartment in the 100 block of Southwest Fifth Court. Allen, who was 27 years old at the time, immediately reported the shooting to the police, claiming that King had put his hands on her, prompting her to shoot him in self-defense. She placed the gun on her car and waited for the authorities to arrive.
The investigation revealed that Allen and King had a tumultuous relationship, often marked by arguments and physical altercations. On the day of the incident, Allen stated that King had slapped her, leading her to retaliate by shoving him. When King slapped her again, Allen drew a 9mm handgun from her waistband and shot him.
