Sam Walter Denham, a 60-year-old retired deputy from the Bay County Sheriff's Office, was tragically shot and killed on April 27, 2015, in his home in Fountain, Florida. Denham had served the community for 26 years before retiring and continuing his public service through his business, Austin's Smokin' Butt Hut. On the morning of his death, Denham was involved in a domestic altercation with Cheryl Gay Hundley, his partner of 13 years. The argument escalated, and Hundley shot Denham in the chest. ...Read More
