Jackie Lee Harris, a 52-year-old resident of Jacksonville, Florida, was tragically found dead in his apartment on August 21, 2015. The discovery was made after police responded to reports of gunshots at the La Esperanza apartment complex on University Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers found the door to Harris' apartment open and his lifeless body inside. He had been shot multiple times, and the scene indicated a violent confrontation.
