Carlos Ortiz, a 30-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically murdered on October 15, 2015, in Tavernier, Florida. His body, along with that of his girlfriend, Tara Rosado, a 26-year-old woman, was discovered the following day by a neighbor who noticed Rosado's three young children wandering outside their home. The couple had been shot in the head, with Ortiz's body found on the floor and Rosado's in bed.
