Cleveland Fulton, a 17-year-old African American male from Palatka, Florida, tragically died on February 29, 2016. The incident occurred when Cleveland accidentally shot himself in the head with a handgun. The shooting took place around 5 p.m. on Benham Street in Palatka. Cleveland was immediately taken to Putnam Community Medical Center and later flown to Shands Hospital in Gainesville in critical condition. Despite the medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
