Jamorris Leon Byrd, a 30-year-old resident of Fort Myers, Florida, tragically lost his life on March 7, 2016, as a result of a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. on Parkway Street, where Byrd was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to Lee Memorial Hospital, Byrd succumbed to his injuries. The Fort Myers Police Department quickly classified the case as a murder investigation, given the circumstances surrounding his death.
