Osmand Falls, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 5, 2016, in Miami, Florida. The incident occurred at the corner of Northwest 10th Avenue and Northwest First Street, where Falls was approached by 15-year-old Jorge Franco. According to police reports, Franco, who had been involved in a gang fight earlier, confronted Falls and shot him twice. Falls was unarmed at the time of the shooting and was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he ...
