Antoinette Ann Gordon, a 41-year-old language arts and intensive reading teacher at North Port High School, tragically lost her life on April 29, 2016, in Port Charlotte, Florida. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a McDonald's on Tamiami Trail, where she was fatally shot by her estranged husband, Hugh Gordon, in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide.
