Rashay L. Garrison, known by his stage name "Shay Baby," was a 29-year-old rapper from Gainesville, Florida, who tragically lost his life on May 2, 2016. Garrison had recently been released from prison in January 2016 and was determined to turn his life around through music. He saw music as an escape from the streets and drug dealing that had previously defined his life. His aspirations were cut short when he was killed in a drive-by shooting, an incident that shocked the Gainesville community.
