On May 15, 2016, the body of Shavon Marlon Shawn, a 32-year-old African American male, was discovered in the back parking area of a business complex in Haines City, Florida. The location was identified as 35884 U.S. Highway 27, near a Tractor Supply Co. and Big Lots.
