Mercedez Marisol Flores, a 26-year-old Hispanic woman, tragically lost her life on June 12, 2016, during the horrific mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Mercedez, originally from Queens, New York, was a vibrant and beloved member of her community. She worked at Target and was a student at Valencia College.
