Eric Ivan Ortiz-Rivera, a 36-year-old Puerto Rican man, tragically lost his life on June 12, 2016, in Orlando, Florida. Ortiz-Rivera was one of the 49 victims of the horrific mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub, a popular venue for the LGBTQ+ community.
