Stephen James Brumby, a 14-year-old from Sarasota, Florida, tragically died on July 3, 2016, in an accidental shooting at the High Noon Gun Range. Stephen was at the range with his father, William "Clayton" Brumby, and two of his siblings for a family outing intended to teach gun safety. During the session, a hot shell casing ejected from the gun William was firing ricocheted off a wall and fell into his shirt.
