On July 17, 2016, Cynthia Zingsheim, an 88-year-old resident of Titusville, Florida, was tragically killed in a shooting incident at Parrish Medical Center. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when David Owens, a 29-year-old man, entered the hospital armed with a handgun.
