Daniel Brooks, 33, was a Black man from Baltimore, Maryland. On March 23, 2015, his life ended in a burst of gunfire on Pennsylvania Avenue, a busy West Baltimore corridor where storefronts glow late and tensions can flare fast. That night, the violence found him in the 2700 block, and when it was over, he was left mortally wounded outside Red Fox Liquors.
