Tarenzo Ladarius Smith, a 27-year-old resident of Tarpon Springs, Florida, tragically lost his life on August 27, 2016. The incident occurred at the Sunbay Motel, where Smith and the suspect, Fredrick Bentley, were both living at the time. According to reports, an argument between Smith and Bentley escalated into a fatal confrontation. Bentley allegedly left the scene briefly, only to return with a firearm. He then shot Smith at close range, resulting in Smith's immediate death at the scene.
