On a Thursday afternoon in May 2015, tragedy struck in a northeast Baltimore neighborhood. In what was reported as a double shooting, 30-year-old Shawn Scott, a Black male, was found fatally wounded on May 14, 2015. The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of East 31st Street.
