Melvin Douglas Koon, aged 66, passed away on February 28, 2017, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was one of two individuals shot inside a home on February 26, 2017. Despite efforts to save him, Koon succumbed to his injuries two days later. His death was a result of gunshot wounds sustained during the incident.
