Zachary Michael Alexander Holmes, a 21-year-old male from Fort Myers, FL, tragically lost his life on August 3, 2017. Holmes was found with a life-threatening gunshot wound in his apartment at the Waterford Apartments on Central Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Despite being rushed to Lee Memorial Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The initial investigation revealed that Holmes had been shot inside his apartment, but no immediate arrests were made at the time of the incident.
