Timothy Hurley, a 59-year-old white male, was tragically killed on August 4, 2017, during an early-morning robbery at the Zota Beach Resort in Longboat Key, Florida. Hurley, who worked as the night desk manager at the resort, was one of two victims in this incident. The other victim was Kevin Carter, a 51-year-old security guard. The robbery, which netted a mere $900, resulted in the deaths of both men, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
