Benjamin Edward Mitchell, a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 9, 2017, in Tampa, Florida. Benjamin was waiting at a bus stop on North 15th Street when he was gunned down. His death was part of a series of seemingly random shootings that terrorized the Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa over a span of 51 days.
