Michael Borland, a 44-year-old sergeant with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, tragically passed away on October 30, 2017, in Largo, Florida. His death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and it occurred in the parking lot of the St. Petersburg College Veterinary Technology Center.
